  2.                                           previous editor  Zed left Eclipse for
  3.                                           various reasons,  including his basic
  4.                                           loss of interest, and the addition to
  5.                                           the team of coder Edd the Duck (known
  6.                                           in  Eclipse  as  Summoner.)  Polaris'
  7.                                           first issue,  issue 8 was released on
  8.                                           June  1st 1992  under the new editor.
  9.                                           Now,five months later,the new Amnesia
  10.                                           is impending release. But you want to
  11.                                           know  the  real  Polaris, so here, in
  12.                                           full   technicolor   glory,   is   an
  13.                                           exclusive interview with Polaris.

  15.                                           Good evening,  sir, I trust you had a
  16. Hello, and  welcome to this, the most     pleasant journey.  Now, how long have
  17. excellent  interview   type  article,     you been on the scene,  how  did  you
  18. conducted    by   the   second   most     find  out  about the Irish scene, and

  97. How did you find  out about the Irish     zine, checking  out  Intros  N' Demos
  98. scene,  and  what  do you think about     from all  my  favourite groups when I

  109. began to like  groups  more and more,     was pretty lame....Crack IRL broke up
  110. groups like Kefrens, Phenomena and of     and   the   group  decided   to  call
  111. course  Red Sector  appealed to me, I     themselves ECLIPSE.   They released a
  112. then  learned of a small group called     zine under  this  name and recieved a
  113. "TNT" who  produced  a  crappy little     letter from a  guy  called  Vixen, he
  114. diskzine called AMNESIA,  at the time     said  that  his  group  (also  called
  115. (Issues 1-5 I think..) there was only     ECLIPSE)  had  been around first, and
  116. about 10-20 articles in the zine, and     we could  either  join  'em or change
  117. they were  pretty  lame, it  was  not     our name....Well we joined, and since
  118. really a scene zine, which is how the     then  Eclipse IRL  has released a few
  119. previous editor  (Zed)  wanted  it to     good intros  and of course this zine.
  120. remain......So I went on, reading the     My first  big  break came when Gazzer
  121. asked  me  to  do  a few articles for     pretty elite even if I say so myself!

  125. Amnesia #8,but found out that Zed had     fucking tears now so  I'll  quit, but
  126. lost interest and quit the zine. Then     it took  a helluva lotta hard work to

  137. Gazzer/Eclipse  to re-code this issue     I bought  the  album  Rust  In  Peace
  138. so it could  be  even better and here     because  I  heard some tracks on MTV.
